Conditions of Sale

  1. All prospective purchasers shall obtain a buyer’s number giving full address and contact details

  2. Should any dispute arise, the Auctioneer may put the Lot up again at the last undisputed bidding, or he may determine the dispute himself and his decision shall be final.

  3. The amount of the biddings shall be regulated by the Auctioneer and no bid shall be retracted.

  4. The Auctioneer may, without giving any reason, refuse to accept the biddings of any person or persons.

  5. The Auctioneer will describe the various Lots but they shall not be liable for any errors or misdescriptions. The purchaser shall take the Lots and pay for them in full in the condition in which they are found, whether or not there be any errors or misdescriptions. No warranty being given as to the mechanical condition of any Lot.

  6. The purchaser of each Lot shall give his or her full name to the auctioneers immediately the Lot is knocked down and the Lot shall be entirely at the risk of the purchaser at the fall of the hammer, although at this time the purchaser has not received a delivery note for the Lot.

  7. All purchases must be paid for in full on the day of the sale and before removal and a delivery note must be obtained by each purchaser. Purchasers who are unknown to the Auctioneers must be prepared to pay cash or to provide a satisfactory Banker’s reference and such arrangements should be made before the sale commences. Credit and Debit cards CANNOT be accepted.

  8. All Lots to be removed on sale day and are at the sole risk of the purchaser on the fall of the hammer.

  9. In default of any of the above Conditions, the Auctioneer may re-sell the Lot or Lots which are applicable by auction or private treaty and the original purchaser may be charged with any deficiency or any expense incurred

  10. Unsold lots are the sole responsibility of the vendor. The highest approved bidder for each lot shall be the purchaser thereof.
