Food Selling from the A4 layby
Following complaints from villagers the Parish Council asked Wiltshire Council to ensure that the conditions of the trading licence were enforced, particularly the clearance of the site at the end of each day’s trading. Wiltshire Council did so, and the trader was also asked to re-site the toilet to a less obvious position, this was also done. Continued compliance will be monitored.
Parish Steward
The Parish Steward visits Cherhill one day a month to carry out routine maintenance tasks. There is a list of the sort of tasks the Parish Steward can undertake and if you know of a job for him you can email the Parish Clerk who will pass it on.
